Art of Belonging: Practice sharing and training for artists and creative practitioners

The Art of Belonging session brought together artists, educators and cultural practitioners for an afternoon of shared learning focused on creative work with people from refugee and asylum-seeking backgrounds at Nottingham Contemporary.

The event combined short presentations, reflective discussions and practical activities, creating space for participants to exchange approaches, challenges and ideas for more inclusive and responsive arts practice. It fostered a sense of collective purpose around improving access, collaboration and cultural belonging within Nottingham’s creative community.
